Berhasil di masa Krisis

By Lisa Nuryanti
Setiap orang pernah melakukan kesalahan. Dulu mereka memang agak santai. Tapi sikap Teny kini bertolak belakang. Melihat keadaan penjualan yang sangat jelek, Teny justeru semakin rajin bekerja. Dia rajin menelepon dan melakukan follow up terhadap semua kliennya. Memang kelihatannya sia-sia, namun ternyata setelah sebulan lebih dia berusaha, mulai ada penjualan lagi. Hasilnya mulai terlihat.

Introspeksi diri

By Lisa Nuryanti

Introspeksi diri? Sudah sering dengar deh. Kayanya biasa aja. Ga ada sesuatu yang baru. Ani baru saja dimarahi oleh atasannya. Marahnya sih ga seberapa. Akibatnya penjualannya menurun drastis. Ya, jelas dong kalau atasan marah.
Tapi Ani jadi sakit hati. Dia tersinggung lah. Kok dimarahi. Biasanya bos ga marah, kok sekarang marah.

Jangan menghindar. Jangan lari. Cukup mulai dengan kemauan untuk berubah!

Christmas and Hope

By Lisa Nuryanti
http://lisanuryanti.blogspot.com/

It is Christmas. What it means can be different for eveybody. But one thing for sure is that we have hope in everything that happens in life. We have hope in this economic crisis. We have hope in our relationship. We have hope in our big, big problems. There is hope in everything.
If it is to be it is up to me! What we do with hope is our own choice. We can choose to hold it tight. We can choose to believe it. We can choose to delight in it. We can choose to share it with our loved ones. Or we can choose to deny it. We can choose to reject it. Or we can choose not to believe in hope.
Let's just open our hearts, think positively, and receive that Big Hope. Then we will see positive changes in the years to come.

Expand Your Vision of Possibilities

By Steve Brunkhorst

Imagine for a moment that you have been given this one day to live—there are no yesterdays or tomorrows. If that were true, how would you experience this day differently? What would you choose to think, see, and do?
Today truly is when life's dramas will unfold. We can learn from the past and plan for tomorrow, but we can't live in the past or future. The present moment is where we will experience life. This day is filled with tremendous possibilities for growth and achievement.
We can choose to dwell on yesterday's hurtful memories, or we can see through the eyes of a child—with newness, joy, and the thrill of adventure.
Pause today. Experience deeply all the sights and sounds around you. Allow yourself to feel each emotion that this day brings. Take a moment to relax and let your imagination flow without limitation. Allow the possibilities of this day to become clear in your mind.
Then walk through this day in keen awareness, mindful of the miracles and possibilities it offers. Today we can build new dreams and discover solutions to unsolved problems. There will be chances to see, hear, touch, taste, feel, laugh, and love that we've never had before.
Dale Carnegie (1888-1955) wisely said, "We all have possibilities we don't know about. We can do things we don't even dream we can do."
Inside each person there are possibilities he or she has not discovered. When we rush through the day without observing our thoughts, we overlook those possibilities. Living with intentional awareness will strengthen and broaden our vision of possibilities.
This moment can be a new beginning. There will be thrilling possibilities to see if you will stop, look, and listen with your mind and heart.
To your success!

Dream

Only as high as I reach can I grow,
Only as far as I seek can I go,
Only as deep as I look can I see,
Only as much as I dream can I be.

How to delay aging

By Lisa Nuryanti

I met a beautiful lady yesterday. She was so energetic, happy, and nice. I thought she was still single. After a while I learned that she was married with two children and she was 43 years old. I thoght she was 25. So, my friend asked her about the secret of her younger look and appearance. She smiled and said:"I have only one secret. I never speak bad things, evil things nor untrue things about other people. I like to think, speak, and be positive at all times. I believe God always gives me the best."
Wow. It was amazing. She looked so young and beautiful. It all came from within. It came from the heart, the mind, and the thought.

Words to Build Your Self Confidence

By Lisa Nuryanti
Many people said that they did not have any self confidence. Some said they did not have enough of it, some said they did not have it at all. Oh, Really? Why? Was it the result of negative words and thoughts?
Susan, a friend of mine, came to me one day. She told me about her trouble at work. She had lost her confidence. She had been working for one year, and yet she had not succeeded yet. Some of her co-workers always said that she had no talent for her job as a sales person. They also said that she was not attractive enough to sell the company's products.
I could see that she was desparate. She had lost her hope as well. So I started to ask her with a simple question. A very simple question, but very hard to answer.
"Do you think you are beautiful?", I asked her.
"No", she answered quickly.
"Allright. Are you attractive?"
"No", she gave an even quicker answer.
Well, for me she was beautiful and attractive enough. But she did not realized it. That was the biggest problem.
"Is the dress you are wearing pretty?"
"No".
"Why did you wear it?" I asked with a little smile.
"Because I do not have pretty dresses".
"Are you trying to say that all of your dresses are not pretty? They were ugly?"
"Yes".
"Why did you buy them at the first place? Why did you choose them?"
She kept silent for a moment, trying to find an answer to my question.
"Well. actually, when you bought them you felt they were pretty. Right?" I helped her.
"Wellllll ...... yesssss."
"Why did you say they were ugly?" I asked again.
She just smiled shyly and could not answer my question.
It was very obvious. She heard those negative words a lot, almost every day for a whole year. No wonder she started to believe them. She started to think like that.
I then told her that she was beautiful and that she was not that dumb nor unattractive. I started giving her positive words that would change her thoughts. The positive words should be genuine. I spoke the positive words from my heart. I believed them myself. I really thought that she was beautiful. I did.
I encourage her to think positively about herself. She needed not to listen to those words anymore. I asked her to write positive words about herself. I also wrote for her. She then left with a different aura. A more positive one.
